Physical development is an important aspect of holistic education. The school has added international basketball and tennis courts. With our team of experts, coaches and scope for varied games like Table tennis, Football, Volley ball, Skating rink and indoor games like Carrom and Chess, students develop their athletic skills and values like team work, discipline and cooperation. The recent years have seen Kabirites, presence in the national scenario with students winning laurels in various fields.

 

Auditorium and Open-Air Theater

 

The air- conditioned Sri Arun Amin Auditorium, equipped with state-of-the-art acoustics and projection systems, as well as a large open-air theater, provide the ideal spaces to showcase the multifarious talents of our children. The stage is energized through out the day with the morning assembly, rehearsals and In-House competitions. Periodically, cultural programmes and festivities are held against the backdrop of the open, starry night sky.

With over seven thousands titles covering various genres, our library is just the kind of space to revive the lost art of reading and exploring. A passionate reading habit among the faculty and integrated project work make children look forward to this period with eagerness and excitement. In addition to fictional and non – fictional books, the library is equipped with periodicals, and entrance exam reference materials to facilitate self study and smart referencing.

The seeds of wonder can only be sown through experiential learning. Spacious and full fledged laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology compliment learning, thereby facilitating multi-sensory learning.

Technology Aided Learning is a part of the teaching – learning process at St. Kabir. The integration of Information and Communication Technology ( in the primary and secondary wings ) helps students keep pace with the changes in the Digital World.

 

Subject Labs

 

A meaningful extension of classroom teaching is when the covers of the text book suddenly transform into walls and livable physical spaces. The English Language Lab and a Mathematics Lab aim to strengthen the basic learning process, especially in the middle school.
