• An emphasis on hands-on working experience to promote the ‘learning by doing’ methodology.
• Extension of the learning process through activities like class plays, quizzes, debates and group
discussions.
• Departmentalization of subject teachers (with a Subject Head), to guide and ensure uniformity in
handling the syllabus.
• Project based learning and presentations to help the student delve deep into the subject and also
create the stimulus to hone his expressive ability.
• Periodical brain storming sessions among the various faculty members of the same subject and even
across subjects, to foster an interdisciplinary approach,
• The teaching of English as a subject on the one hand and a medium of instruction and communication
on the other (a significant dimension in our curriculum planning).
• Integrating the outside world and the text, to make the words on the page a meaningful experience.
